The Cincinnati Bengals' backup quarterback competition was won by Jake Browning, according to a report from Pro Football Network's Jay Morrison.
Trevor Siemian and Reid Sinnett competed with Browning during training camp and in the preseason for the backup role behind Joe Burrow. Sinnett also was cut, according to multiple reports.
Burrow has yet to participate in practice since suffering a calf injury on July 27. Burrow went through his pregame warmup before the Bengals' preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers, but hasn't been seen throwing publicly since.
