There wasn’t much pretty, but on an ugly day at Paul Brown Stadium against the stingy Bills nobody expected there to be. And in the end it didn’t matter. The Bengals needed a win to keep their season on track, and despite a roller coaster of stops and starts found a way to head into the bye with momentum thanks to a 20-16 victory.
The Bengals pass rush kept the Bills flustered, and despite three turnovers the offense hit enough plays on the arm of Andy Dalton to post a victory.
This was the most points scored against the Bills all year and as time ran out chants of “Who Dey” rang out across the stadium as a season left for dead here two weeks ago suddenly looks back on track with Pittsburgh next and within sight on the schedule and in the standings.
