When Logan Wilson stepped on campus at the University of Wyoming in 2015, he was a 190-pound cornerback.
In the past five years, Wilson gained 50 pounds, transitioned to middle linebacker and was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Last season, the Bengals tried several middle linebackers who frequently missed tackles and struggled to execute on game day. Aaron Bohl, who was Wilson’s linebackers coach at Wyoming, told The Enquirer that Wilson can plug the hole in the middle of the Bengals’ defense.
“When you see NFL players miss plays in space, it’s not because they’re not good enough to make those plays.
