The Cincinnati Bengals were without their starting quarterback and starting running back as they welcomed the New York Giants. However, the Bengals didn’t just lay down and roll over in a game that was easily winnable.

After starting down 7-0, the Bengals received a glimmer of hope as Brandon Wilson had a 103-yard kick return. The two teams eventually went into halftime all knotted up at ten points each.

The Bengals eventually went down 19-10 before a late-game Tee Higgins touchdown gave them some hope with just over two minutes remaining. After forcing a three-and-out, the Bengals’ Allen fumbled, draining any hope those in Paul Brown Stadium had.
