PALM BEACH, Florida – He’s just getting started.
One of the biggest surprises of the 2021 NFL season was the production of Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. Drafted as the fifth overall pick, expectations were certainly high but it’s fair to say he exceeded them in every way.
After tallying 81 catches for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns in his first NFL regular season, Chase put the rest of the league on notice. He broke the Bengals’ franchise record for most receiving yards in a single season (1,440) and earned 42 of 50 votes for the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
