Newer generations of Cincinnati Bengals fans may not know the players who twice faced the San Francisco 49ers in the team's two Super Bowls in the 1980s.
Super Bowl XVI was Jan. 24, 1982, at the Pontiac Silverdome and Super Bowl XXIII was Jan. 22, 1989, at Joe Robbie Stadium, Miami, Florida.
