The Cincinnati Bengals got some big news today that offensive tackle Hakeem Adeniji has been cleared to resume practicing, the team announced.
Adeniji has been on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list since August 31st due to a torn pectoral injury suffered in OTAs. Today starts a 21-day period during which he may practice with the team without counting against the 53-player active roster. He is eligible to be activated to the roster at any time during that period.
A 2020 sixth-round NFL Draft pick by way of the Kansas Jayhawks, Adeniji appeared in 15 games (five starts at left tackle) last season.
