Carlos Dunlap seemed to relish Geno Atkins at the podium in front of the media on Wednesday, almost as much as any of the reporters in the interview room.
He sat down and immediately moved all the recorders near Atkins.
“You got to put these a little bit closer to Geno, as you know,” Dunlap said with a smile.
This marked the first time the man Dunlap dubbed “the Silent Assassin” would speak to the media at any length since the moments after the playoff loss to Pittsburgh in January of 2016.
