The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the newest crop of inductees on Saturday night.
The class was defensive back-heavy, as four of the seven inductees played cornerback or safety.
AFC North standout safety Ed Reed was selected after his first year of eligibility. The ball-hawk leads the NFL in interception return yardage and ended his career with a win in Super Bowl XLVII.
Cornerback Champ Bailey and tight end Tony Gonzalez round out the group of first-ballot inductees. Bailey was a 12-time Pro Bowler and a three-time first team All-Pro selection, as well a member of the All-Decade team in the 2000s.
