The Enquirer has confirmed that Andre Smith will be visiting the Cincinnati Bengals, the club that drafted him No. 6 overall in the 2009 NFL draft, as a free agent in the coming days.
Smith, 30, left the Bengals last offseason and signed a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings.
Expected to help anchor the offensive line on the right side for the Vikings and head coach Mike Zimmer, Smith suffered a triceps injury after just four games and was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
Smith is headed to Cincinnati after a having a positive visit with the Buffalo Bills.
