The Bengals drafted Bernard Scott in the sixth round of the 2009 NFL draft. Durability issues prevented him from developing an NFL career; he eventually latched on in Baltimore and then the CFL.
Well, it's over now.
Former Cincinnati Bengals running back Bernard Scott has announced his retirement this week. Scott signed a deal with the CFL's Toronto Argonauts after a one-year stint with the Baltimore Ravens.
Scott, a former sixth-round pick, spent four seasons with the Bengals playing 47 games with three starts. He posted 1,035 yards rushing in his career while scoring four touchdowns, mostly all in 2011 when he set career highs in yards (380) and touchdowns (3).
