Jim Breech, recent Cincinnati Bengals Ring of Honor Nominee, is arguably the best kicker in franchise history. He spent 13 years with the Bengals and is one of the few players to have played for the Bengals in both Super Bowl XVI and Super Bowl XIII. His 1,151 points scored leads the franchise.
Breech recently spoke with AllBengals about his success, and about the Bengals recent addition at the position.
“The only thing I can control was the kick,” Breech said. “In practice you do the same thing over and over and over again, so when you go out there for a kick in the first quarter or a kick to win the game it feels the same and you don’t think about the outcome.
