Week 1 is always funky in fantasy. There are so many trends that seem like they’d be obvious that get completely flipped on their heads. There are just as many players that have great Week 1’s that we never hear from again.

Eli Mitchell, RB, San Francisco 49ers: This was a very weird outcome for the 49ers backfield. The talk was all about Raheem Mostert and Trey Sermon, but Sermon was a healthy scratch and Mostert suffered a knee injury (severity still to be determined).
