Former Bengal Brandon Tate was not welcomed warmly by fans at Paul Brown Stadium Sunday afternoon.
Tate, who was with the Bengals from 2011 through 2015 tied the game at 10 with a 12-yard touchdown reception from Buffalo quarterback Tyrod Taylor in the second quarter, only to have a fan in the front row toss a beverage on him as he walked back to the sidelines.
Tate moved on from the Bengals after wide receiver Alex Erickson emerged as the team's primary kick and punt returner before the 2016 regular season.
Tate left the franchise with the second-most kick return yards in its history with 3,517.
