On a day when a report surfaced via ESPN's Adam Schefter that the consensus top backup quarterback on the block, New England’s Jimmy Garappolo, won’t be traded, Tobin wanted to assure everyone he’s not looking to ship McCarron anytime soon. At least, not before being blown away by an offer.
“We view our team as a team in the mix to challenge,” Tobin said speaking with reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine.
