Duke Tobin gives update on Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins contract situations

The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up for perhaps the most important offseason in franchise history.

It sounds like they know that and are planning to spend the big bucks to keep their stars under contract for the foreseeable future.

On Tuesday, Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin met with the media at the NFL Combine, where he said the team plans to make Ja’Marr Chase the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL.

Tobin is also hopeful of getting a deal done with impending free agent Tee Higgins.

“Tee is the one that’s not signed for the future right now, so that puts the onus on us to do something,” Tobin said.
