A downed power line on I -275 in Northern Kentucky stopped traffic in both directions during rush hour on Thursday and Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Adam Jones was in the thick of the incident.
Duke Energy Spokeswoman Sally Thelen said an accident left broken poles and utility lines down across the interstate.
"Duke Energy crews are on site and working on de-energizing and removing lines," she said on Twitter.
Thelen said 670 customers are currently affected by outages.
Just after 5:30, Thelen said crews had removed lines that fell across the interstate and that all lanes should be re-opened.
