Duke Tobin and the Cincinnati Bengals have several important roster decisions to make this offseason. One player the Bengals need to make a verdict on is veteran defensive tackle Geno Atkins.
Atkins was hampered all of 2020 by a shoulder injury that he suffered during training camp. The ailment caused the eight-time Pro Bowler to have the least productive season of his career. He played in eight games and finished with just one tackle and three pressures in a career-low 119 snaps.
“Most of his season was impacted. The Geno we saw heading into the season during camp was the old Geno and then he had the issue, he battled through,” Tobin, the Bengals director of player personnel, said.
