D'Ante Smith, entering his second season as an offensive tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals, was carted off the field during position drills in the first few minutes of Friday's training camp practice.
Trainers appeared to examine Smith's leg before he left in the cart.
From The Enquirer's Kelsey Conway via Twitter:
A fourth-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2021 out of East Carolina, Smith, 24, played in two regular-season games and two playoff games during his rookie season for Cincinnati.
Tight end Drew Sample was carted off the field during Thursday's practice.
