The Cincinnati Bengals will be one of the teams to evaluate former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick's workout Saturday in Atlanta, sources confirmed to The Enquirer.
Kaepernick's last game action was in 2016, when he 2,241 yards and 16 touchdowns. The former 2nd-round pick has thrown for 12,271 yards in his career and 72 touchdowns against 30 interceptions.
The Nevada product began kneeling during the national anthem to protest treatment of racial minorities.
After the 2016 season, Kaepernick opted out of his contract and was never signed by another NFL team. He and Carolina Panthers' safety Eric Reed settled a lawsuit with the NFL earlier this year, which alleged collusion between franchises to keep Kaepernick off the field.
