Brandon LaFell’s locker was still full Thursday afternoon, his LSU pads still tucked in the top shelf.
The only thing that would indicate the veteran wide receiver hadn’t been inside the Cincinnati Bengals locker room to that point was that his stool was upside down inside it.
But by the time the players met with the media, the club had made it official that the 31-year-old receiver had been released. In the receivers room at least, the move was very surprising as the team prepared for their seventh day of training camp practices.
