Cincinnati Bengals react to new NFL national anthem policies

A week ago, the National Football League concluded its spring owner’s meetings with the decision to enact a new policy regarding its players and what should – and should not – occur during the playing of the national anthem before games.

Commissioner Roger Goodell released a statement on May 23 that “this season, all league and team personnel shall stand and show respect for the flag and the anthem.
