Ryan Finley’s evaluation period starts in earnest on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.
Cincinnati Bengals coach Zac Taylor sent shockwaves around the NFL world and “surprised” the locker room when he named Finley the team’s starting quarterback on Oct. 29.
It’s been more than a week since Taylor shook up Cincinnati. Since then, Finley’s had a few practices as the team’s starting quarterback. The rookie conceded to The Enquirer that he’s nervous going into Sunday but declared that his jitters are a positive feeling.
“Yeah, I would be worried if I wasn’t nervous because that would mean I didn’t care,” Finley explained to The Enquirer.
