CHARLOTTE — The Bengals will have just two running backs against the Panthers on Sunday.
Giovani Bernard will start in place of Joe Mixon, who is expected to miss two to four weeks after having arthroscopic surgery last week. Rookie Mark Walton will be active for the first time in his career while recently acquired Thomas Rawls is inactive. Tra Carson was expected to see an increased role but was waived/injured this week following a hamstring injury in practice.
