Cincinnati Bengals notes: Chris Worley's potential homecoming debut, Tyler Boyd out & more

Chris Worley was mid-workout Tuesday when he received the good news.

The Cincinnati Bengals informed the rookie linebacker he would be signed to the 53-man roster, creating the opportunity for his professional debut Sunday in his hometown against the Cleveland Browns.

"As y'all can image, my face lit up," Worley said.

The 6-foot-1, 238-pound former Ohio State team captain has spent the season on the practice squad after the Bengals signed him as an undrafted free agent.
