The Cincinnati Bengals will be without wide receiver Auden Tate for the final five games of the season.
Tate will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery later this month, a source told The Enquirer, and the Bengals placed him on injured reserve Wednesday. The surgery will be performed by Dr. James Andrews.
The 23-year-old Tate had 14 catches for 150 yards this season without a touchdown. He’s expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the start of the 2021 season.
“Auden is one of those guys that you’ve come to appreciate over my two years here,” Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said.
