The NFL’s opt-out deadline came and went without an additional Cincinnati Bengals player declaring themselves out for the season.
The NFL set a 4 p.m. ET Thursday deadline for players to opt out due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Multiple Bengals considered sitting out the 2020 season because of COVID-19 concerns, but defensive tackle Josh Tupou and offensive tackle Isaiah Prince are the only players who elected not to play football this season. Both players informed the team last week of their decisions.
Bengals Defensive Coordinator Lou Anarumo left the door open on the possibility of the team signing another defensive tackle.
