The Cincinnati Bengals have filled their defensive line coach opening.
Marion Hobby has been named the team’s defensive line coach, the Bengals announced on Saturday.
Hobby brings 26 years of coaching experience, including six years at the NFL level. He spent the past two seasons at the Miami Dolphins defensive line coach.
Hobby, 54, helped Miami’s 3-4 defense finish the regular season on top of the NFL in third down efficiency, No. 6 in the league in points allowed and tied for 10th in sacks.
“We are excited for Marion to join the Bengals,” Bengals coach Zac Taylor said in a statement.
