The Cincinnati Bengals finalized their first 53-man roster for the 2022 season today.
Now, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor and Duke Tobin can focus on putting their practice squad together. In order for a player to join Cincinnati's practice squad, he has to clear waivers first. This means the Bengals will have to cut the player, allow him to hit the waiver wire and then if no other team claims him, can sign the player. NFL teams must have their waiver claims in for players waived in the cutdown from 80 to 53 by noon on Wednesday. Teams will then be notified if they were awarded any players off waiver.
