With the return of injured tight end Tyler Eifert uncertain for 2019, C.J. Uzomah being an unrestricted free agent in 2019, Matt Lengel being a free agent as well, and the only other option on the depth chart being Jordan Franks, it could definitely be a strong possibility to explore options at the tight end position as a potential day two or three steal in the NFL Draft in April. This draft has arguably one of the greater tight end classes in a number of years, and adding another C.J. in C.J. Conrad to the roster could be beneficial to the receiving core, as well as depth for the offensive line.
