The Cincinnati Bengals search for a defensive coordinator continues.
It's mid-February, a week after Zac Taylor was officially announced as head coach and the offensive staff is essentially complete. Finishing that side of the operation quickly wasn't by accident.
Taylor secured people he identified well before he and the Bengals unofficially agreed to marry in January.
"He's kept a book, he and his brother (Press Taylor), of who they would hire from time to time," said Taylor's father Sherwood Taylor. "They've always had a list ready and had a philosophy ready.
