In the mind of Bengals safety Clayton Fejedelem, the hit he made on Ryan Nall was like so many he’d made before.
Fejedelem’s actions might not have changed, but the rules surrounding them are and that’s why he was flagged for illegal use of helmet on Thursday night.
It was the second time he ended up in the middle of the controversial new rule. Bears’ DeMarcus Ayers was flagged 15 yards for the same call in tackling Fejedelem on the end of his 49-yard fake punt run.
