With the first game of the exhibition season in the rearview mirror, the Cincinnati Bengals are again on the road, this time against the Washington Redskins. Both teams are coming off of a loss, and both will look to find some preseason traction on Thursday night.
The Bengals lost 38-17 at Kansas City in a game that had some positive moments. Typical of a first preseason game, Cincinnati looked good on an opening drive under veteran quarterback Andy Dalton, then settled into a fairly uneven performance.
Same can be said for the Redskins, who get a second consecutive look at an AFC North team.
