Chase Brown has been every bit of the RB1 the Cincinnati Bengals needed this season. He was given a high workload throughout the last several weeks, and that continued into the must-win game vs. the Denver Broncos on Saturday.
Cincinnati gave Brown 20 carries for 67 yards prior to an injury suffered late in the fourth quarter. When Brown went down, Khalil Herbert entered the game and took the rest of the reps. Herbert was traded from Chicago prior to the trade deadline this season.
Brown’s injury, in real-time, looked pretty bad, but it might not hold him out for too long.
