Carlos Dunlap may be entering a contract year, but his goal for the season is about the unit, not the individual.
“We want to lead the league in sacks,” Dunlap told Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “Whatever number it takes.”
In 2017, it would have taken 56.5 sacks to surpass the Pittsburgh Steelers’ league-leading mark of 56. In 2018, it could be even more, but Dunlap thinks they have the group to get it done.
“This is one of the best d-lines I’ve been a part of pass-rushing wise,” Dunlap stated about his teammates up front.
