If there is one constantly-performing mainstay of the Cincinnati Bengals in the Marvin Lewis era, it’s in their special teams unit. Yes, there have been some sporadic issues at long snapper and place kickers missing some big attempts, but some of the best statistical performances from special teamers have come under Darrin Simmons’ watch.
Punter Kevin Huber is one of those stalwarts under Simmons and has had a good career with the Bengals since joining them in the class of 2009. It appears as if he has a chance to go down as one of the best players in his position to ever play for the Bengals, as he recently signed a three-year deal with the team.
