The Cincinnati Bengals selected Brad Robbins in the 2023 draft after a disappointing season from Drue Chrisman and the retirement of Kevin Huber.
Robbins won the job, and the Bengals hoped that he would quickly become the punter of the future, but that was sadly not the case. He faced struggles with lack of power and had several missed punts that put the Bengals defense in bad position.
He will be facing the competition of undrafted free agents Austin McNamara and Ryan Rehkow.
The Bengals' failure to draft or sign veteran punter competition could indicate they still believe in Robbins, but if he is clearly outperformed in camp, they would be unlikely to choose him over the rookie in McNamara.
