Former NFL star quarterbacks Boomer Esiason and Phil Simms don't always see eye-to-eye, but they agreed during CBS' NFL Today Postgame that Cincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow was asked to do a lot - perhaps too much - before the reported ACL injury he suffered during the third quarter of Sunday's loss at Washington.
"Thanks for all the love. Can't get rid of me that easy. See ya next year," Burrow tweeted in response to prayers via social media.
"We saw the reaction from the Bengal players to their first-year captain, their Rookie of the Year - runaway winner - I think he would have been," former Bengals great Esiason said.
