Former Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason suggested on Boomer and Gio, the radio show Esiason co-hosts on WFAN in New York, that college football teams in the SEC as well as Clemson of the ACC may be seeking COVID-19 herd immunity before the season starts, considering the number of positive cases that have been reported among those teams in recent days.

"I gotta be really careful here, because I don't want to say that this is an accusation," Esiason started. "I don't want to ... I just was thinking the other day about what is going on with the SEC teams down south.
