Bills boost return game, sign ex-Bengal Tate

The Buffalo Bills made a move to boost their return game, signing Brandon Tate on Tuesday.

The veteran wide receiver was released by the Cincinnati Bengals on Aug. 30.

Tate, who turns 29 in October, played for the Bengals from 2011 to 2015 and had a franchise-leading 1,415 yards on 154 punt returns. He also was second in franchise history with 3,517 yards on 145 kickoff returns.
