CINCINNATI -- Much of the Cincinnati Bengals' AFC North championship this past season was built upon the shoulders of its defense, a unit that allowed the second-fewest points in the NFL.
Thanks to the many stops that contributed to so few touchdowns and field goals being scored, the Bengals also did something for their city.
According to the team, its partnership with the Campbell Soup Company's Tackle Hunger program resulted in the donation of more than 21,000 cans of soup to Cincinnati's Freestore Foodbank. The non-profit helps feed those in need in the region. Freestore Foodbank's website says that one in six in the area are at risk for hunger.
