On Thursday, it was revealed that Tyler Boyd is facing drug charges following a July car crash near his home in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania.
Boyd was charged with possession of THC and not being registered to have a controlled substance after police searched a car registered to him after the crash. Boyd quickly took to Twitter to claim he was not involved with the crash, and that someone else had borrowed his vehicle, causing the wreck. He later deleted the Tweet:
On Friday, Boyd released a statement about the incident via the Cincinnati Enquirer:
"I'm just waiting on more time to get more information," Boyd said.
