The Cincinnati Bengals are without a starting tight end at the moment as Hayden Hurst is expected to sign with the Carolina Panthers.
Hurst, 29, agreed to terms on a three-year deal in Carolina, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
After one season in Cincinnati, Hurst wanted to remain with the Bengals but was looking for a long-term deal.
The Bengals have now only re-signed one of six players from the 2022 roster that started or was a significant contributor that is a free agent and it's linebacker Germaine Pratt. Safeties Vonn Bell (Carolina) and Jessie Bates (Atlanta) are headed to play with different teams.
