The Cincinnati Bengals have announced they’ll open training camp in Dayton on July 27 at Welcome Stadium. The team will announce its full training camp schedule on Tuesday.
To celebrate the NFL’s 100th season, the NFL is honoring Dayton as one of its 13 Original Towns by partnering with the Bengals to host their first training camp practice of 2019 in Dayton.
The first-ever NFL game was played in Dayton in 1920, featuring the Dayton Triangles and Columbus Panhandles — two of the League’s original 14 teams.
The NFL Network will air live coverage of the practice from Dayton to pay homage to the historic city in NFL history.
