When the Bengals went out and acquired Bills’ left tackle Cordy Glenn, it was rightfully recognized as a big deal. It’s an ultra-rare event when the Bengals use the free agency period to add legitimate talent to their roster, regardless of which avenue the team executed to make it happen.
Adding Glenn was great. The problem was that they failed to prepare in case he couldn’t play, which was exactly the case for this past Sunday.
Due to a back injury, Glenn missed his first game of the season and Jake Fisher got the nod in his stead.
