Bengals waive Zach Carter; activate Myles Murphy and McKinnley Jackson

The Cincinnati Bengals have made a trio of roster moves ahead of their Week 5 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.

On Friday, the team waived defensive tackle Zach Carter. The Bengals also activated defensive end Myles Murphy and defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson to the 53-man roster from the injured reserve list. Both had been designated for return and cleared to practice on Wednesday. Murphy had been on IR since Aug. 27th with a knee injury, while Jackson had been on the list since Aug. 29th with a knee injury.

Carter, a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Florida, has played in all four games this season (two starts) and totaled nine tackles with a half-sack.
