The Cincinnati Bengals have announced the previously-reported signing of offensive lineman John Jerry. In order to make room, the team has waived offensive lineman Rod Taylor.
Taylor bounced around the offensive line in his college career with the Ole Miss Rebels. He started every game at right tackle during the 2017 season after being Ole Miss’ left tackle in 2016. He started at right guard in his first two seasons, and he was expected to be a guard in the NFL.
Taylor was the second of three seventh-round draft picks from the Bengals’ 2018 draft class.
