The Cincinnati Bengals have waived running back Thomas Rawls, the team announced Tuesday. No corresponding move was made, so the Bengals have one vacant spot on the 53-man roster for the time being.
Rawls, who was signed in Week 3, was once a rising star in the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Seahawks in 2015. However, injuries have led to his downfall, so much that he failed to make an NFL roster entering Week 1.
The Bengals signed Rawls after sustaining injuries to Joe Mixon and Trae Carson, the latter of which was waived.
