Following the Bengals’ first preseason game, the team has cut a pair of players.
On Friday, Cincinnati announced running back Ray Lawry and offensive lineman Austin Fleer had been waived. Both players were rookies who had signed as college free agents on May 11 this year.
Fleer arrived out of Colorado Mesa University, a Division II All-American school. He was a massive offensive tackle at 6-7 and 306 pounds. He struggled to get on the field with Cincinnati as he was behind Jake Fisher, Cedric Ogbuehi, Kent Perkins, Bobby Hart and Cordy Glenn.
