Rey Maualuga going to the NFI list was unexpected, given there's been no reported injuries with him this offseason.
In addition to signing wide receiver Greg Little and Desmond Lawrence, the Bengals have made two other roster moves to close out Thursday, one of which being the team parting ways with Cobi Hamilton.
Hamilton was waived by the team after originally being a sixth-round draft pick out of Arkansas in the 2013 NFL Draft. He has never appeared in a regular-season game, but did spend time on the Bengals' practice squad in each of the previous two seasons.
